Earning My First Four Pennies on Medium
What I’ve made so far with the Medium Partner Program
I made four cents since signing up with the Medium Partner Program. Looks like my latest article made some waves the other day, heh heh. (*Chuckling*) I know it may look like some chump change compared to veteran writers who have all these income streams and make a crapload of cash money on this platform, but damn it, it’s a start. That’s a good thing for a newbie like me, even though I’ve been on here for over a year; it lets me know that some people like my work.
With that being said (to quote my best friend of 16+ years), I’m still gonna grind my ass off and build an organic following with my stories. One day down the line, I plan on turning those four cents into thousands. I’m aware that this isn’t going to happen overnight; I still gotta pay my dues so I can get some traction around these parts. And to the fellow newbies like myself who are just getting their feet wet with the Medium Partner Program, know that this is all just a slow and steady process. Just keep writing what’s on your heart and mind. Do everything organically, and avoid the AI stuff. (Smile)
Now I got me some articles and books to write, and some stuff to crochet. I’ll see y’all in the next one!
