A Tale Of Three Dragons (Part 2)
Above is Part 1 if you haven't read it yet
Ginza, Tokyo — A Ramen Shop
Elsewhere in the city of Tokyo, Japan was a young man casually dressed. He was getting a feel for the place that he once called home before moving overseas for work. His stomach was throwing a serious tantrum, so he walked inside a local ramen spot in the Ginza district.
“Excuse me,” the young man said. “I’d like a chicken cutlet ramen, please.”
“Sure thing. That’ll be 1300 yen,” said the server. “Aye, we got an order for a chicken cutlet ramen!”
“Man, I’ve been away too long,” the young man mumbled.
“How long we talkin’?” It was the server who took his order. This guy must’ve heard me think out loud, thought the young man.
“About a few years,” he responded to the server. “I’m originally from Japan, but I lived in America for a cool minute.”
